First Place in the "2017 "Figurative/Portrait" Art Competition"

Just received notice that one of my custom oil paintings (which I did years ago) won first place in the "2017 "Figurative/Portrait" Art Competition".
Well, I don't believe in art competition, but still, I am humbled!

Winter Woods #2

Struggled a couple of times on this one. For many moments I wasn't sure if it would turned as I wished, even joked with my partner "if one isn't sure her/his work is good or bad, it's usually bad." However, at the end, I felt quite satisfied. :-)

A new acylic landscape painting: "hut in woods"

Acrylic, 9x12.
A quick sketching style painting from a photograph. Lighting impression was my main focus. I consider this one my best art work ever made by myself.
